I came to Latakko Ltd. quite randomly, answering an advertisement in portal prakse.lv. I did not even realize then the growth in my field that these 10 weeks would provide as well as the great time spent with the team. I like the fact that there are no filters in the company – people of different age, nationality and character work here.

The ladies in the Accounting Department familiarized me with the company’s accounting policies and delegated a variety of tasks to help me train practical skills. I was delighted that important tasks were assigned to me, not just arranging documents, as is often the case with other companies, and it really motivated me. Trainees here are relied upon!

I have spent three exciting months in Latakko Ltd. as an assistant to office manager. Internship in Latakko will always remain in my memory with positive atmosphere of the company and responsiveness of employees. It is wonderful place to acquire and consolidate one’s knowledge, to learn to work at a large team, and make one’s internship an interesting period of life, full of events. I liked very much the unity of the team and the fact that it included people of different nationalities and age, so it was always interesting to communicate.

After internship, I have gained wonderful experience in my field, which will certainly be useful to me in future. In general, I can say only the warmest words of gratitude for time of internship spent in Latakko and I can say many thanks for such warm-hearted and bright welcome from the team. I felt as if I was in a large and kind family.

Working in the company “Latakko”, as a trainee, I had various work duties and I had an opportunity to gain valuable experience in accounting and marketing. My duties included different tasks, which allowed examining work of particular department from all aspects, for example, comparison of debtors’ balance turnover, verification of banking and sales documents, elaboration of documents and sending thereof to customers, work on marketing materials and participation in organisation of events.

The team here is friendly, kind and responsive. Each task given to me was explained to me in details in advance, so that it was easy to perform, I did not make mistakes and could acquire new skills, which will be useful in my further career. I liked being part of Latakko very much, because I had an opportunity to acquire skills important for my chosen future profession.

I was an intern at Latakko for 3 months in the HR department. I absolutely loved it! I wanted to work at Latakko because I wanted to get good business experience at a prominent company. Latakko has about 300 employees and they are located in all three of the Baltic states. I loved working here not only because of the experience but also because of the wonderful coworkers with whom I was blessed to work.

I was nervous to start because I was in a completely different country, however when I met Jolanta and was introduced to some other employees I felt right at home. Zoja, Jolanta, Šeila, Lienīte and Saša were all in my department and they were so kind to me and helped me out with any questions I had. They even gave me Latvian treats and would talk to me about fun things I could do in Latvia. I loved going on lunch breaks with them, and I would consider them really great friends.

The culture at Latakko is unlike any other place I’ve worked at. Not only do the employees work hard, they also know how to have fun while at work. Whenever someone had a birthday, the boss and some other coworkers would say a few nice things about them, give them flowers and everyone would give them hugs. My main goal coming to work there was for the experience, but I would have never guessed that I would be working in such a fun environment and become friends with such kind people.
